Alyse Rooks
Communications Director
Alyse Rooks is the communications director at Beyond Petrochemicals, where she leads communications strategies to put people over pollution. She has over fifteen years of experience driving narratives, shaping events, and getting results.
Prior to her role at Beyond Petrochemicals, Alyse directed communications for community engagement and environmental justice at Environmental Defense Fund. She spent the early part of her career working in the oil and gas industry, and she brings a wealth of knowledge to fight industry tactics and misinformation.
Alyse earned a BA in Public Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University.
