Sally Miller

Sally serves as the Campaign Director for Beyond Petrochemicals. In her 30-year career, Sally has run local, state, and federal electoral, legislative, and issue-based campaigns across the country and has consulted with large organizations on how to increase grassroots participation and activism.

Before coming to Beyond Petrochemicals, Sally served as the Vice President of Outreach for the grassroots fundraising platform ActBlue. She came to that work after serving as the Executive Director of the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party.

Sally started her career working for Senator Paul Wellstone’s Senate office in Washington, DC, where she would spend the next eight years working for the Senator and his wife, Sheila, learning the true meaning of grassroots organizing. She then went on to work for the Service Employees International Union where she spent the majority of her 10 years as the National Political Director for the South and Southwest Region based out of Chapel Hill, NC. Sally is proud to say she can go from “ya, you betcha” to “hey y’all” with ease.
